The promise of an HIV vaccine: Dr. Chil-Yong Kang

Dr. Chil-Yong Kang, University of Western Ontario, explains his exciting research towards finding a vaccine for HIV and AIDS. He is looking to doing prophylactic vaccine trials with the CTN, for people who are HIV negative. He is also looking at therapeutic vaccines (designed for people with HIV but without AIDS symptoms), which could be beneficial to people with HIV and people with hepatitis C.
