Faith-Based Organizations Addressing HIV/AIDS in Canada: A National Framework

Voir ceci en français

Faith communities are important anchors and active sources of support in communities. Many Canadians with HIV belong to a faith community and contribute to the spiritual life of their communities. They may also face discrimination and stigma related to HIV or other challenges, both within and beyond their own communities, and look to their community for support and guidance.

This is a resource for those working in a pastoral care context to support people living with HIV/AIDS in their communities, and to encourage communities to affirm PLWHIV/AIDS in a societal context.
