A reflection on 25 years of PWA supporting HIV+ and broader community – developed for PWA's 25th anniversary.
This document is an attempt to capture some of the voices and stories that have made up PWA over 25 years. It is more of a scrapbook than a formal history, capturing just a few of the snapshots of people and moments that represent some of the pivotal changes and meaningful involvement of individuals that have impacted PWA and our community. These are just a sampling of stories and faces – there have been hundresds of volunteers, dozens of staff, thousands of clients, thousands of supporters. The voices in this project are an attempt to demonstrate and honour the incrdible power and contributions of every member of that community.
